Message from Dalmia Vidya Mandir, Chirawa Principal’s Desk

We are in the constant pursuit to augment and polish the academic and characteristic traits of our students and will leave no stone unturned to chisel the inherent potential inside them.

The faculty has been selected through a rigorous selection process combined with a comprehensive training program and workshops conducted by Dalmia Vidya Mandir group trainers to ensure a strong and efficient faculty base.

They, the think tank of the school, are working collaboratively with the parents to provide result oriented instruction that focuses on the success of each individual student. Teachers also ensure to reinstate moral and ethical values into the young minds from time to time through rich and robust conversations.

As far as the other infrastructural facility of the school is concerned, the school is equipped with a dedicated Block housing a rich and well-resourced library, a state-of-art Computer Lab. and Science Labs. The students also have the access to a Mathematics Lab providing the right ambiance for the development of research-oriented minds of our students.

Hand-in-hand with academics is sports - another defining factor in the curriculum of Dalmia Vidya Mandir, Chirawa. Students attend indoor training sessions in Yoga, Chess, Carom and Table-tennis. The outdoor sports facilities include a well-turfed Athletic Track, a Basketball Court, a hand ball, a Volleyball Court and Kho-Kho ground. A well-designed skating rink is also offered for the students. Another important asset added to the landscape of the school ground.

The school has an array of co-curricular activities to hone the latent talents in the students; Activities give ample opportunities to students to carve out into budding personalities with varying aptitudes. The activity calendar is a buzz with activities from the spheres of Sport, General Awareness, Dance, Music, Art ‘n’ Craft, Literature, Environment, Health & Hygiene, Histrionics to name a few. A Principal is not much of a leader instead more of the head of a family. As the head of the Dalmia Vidya Mandir, Chirawa family, I would say like Martin Luther King, I have a dream. My dream is to have a school that is modern, progressive and vibrant in attitude and has students at the center of all the activities. I want the students of Dalmia Vidya Mandir, Chirawa to be academically proficient, physically fit, morally upright, sensitive towards the community and society and a conscious global citizen of the 21st Century. I know this may sound like a tall order but it is just what all the Dalmia Schools are known for. As rightly said by Rabindranath Tagore,” The highest education is that which does not merely give us information but brings our life in harmony with all existence.”

Winding-up, I, on behalf of the institution, would like to recommit myself to the betterment and growth of the student community. We would all like to see them soar to new heights and taste success in all their endeavors. We, at Dalmia Vidya Mandir, Chirawa, are of the conviction that Education's purpose is to replace an empty mind with an open one.

We have introduced a unique and great curriculum of “Bharat Gaurav Yatra” to inculcate patriotism in students. A few words to our most valuable parents. I highly encourage you to take an active participation in the education of your child by keenly monitoring his academic growth, at the same time spending quality time with them. This will immensely have a positive effect on the healthy growth of your child.
