Infrastructure - Meghalaya

ACADEMIC:
Guidelines given by CBSE/NCERT are largely adopted during teaching and assessment.

HOME ASSIGNMENTS:  
Due care is taken to reduce the burden of homework. Activities which foster creativity, analytical and independent thinking are assigned in the form of projects. Computer education is emphasized on and computers are provided for hand-on learning to each students from class III onwards. 

LITERARY ACTIVITIES:
Students are given the opportunity to participate in oral and written literary activities, which are interspersed with teaching throughout the year as per the literary activity schedule. Every effort is made to encourage students for participation in both intra and inter school activities.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES:
Inter House and Open competitions and performances are held in song, dance and drama every year. Senior students are also given the opportunity to organize short cultural programmes in order to develop their organizational abilities.

ART EDUCATION: 
Students are systematically trained in fine and commercial art as well as craft. Participation in inter and intra school activities is encouraged.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION:
Physical development is encouraged among students for holistic development, Students are taught physical exercises and can play games of their choice.
